Entry in the register of tour organisers
Vision Travel sp. z o.o. is entered in the register of tour organisers (rejestr organizatorów turystyki; “tour organiser” is the legal term for a tour operator) kept by the Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship (the regional authority for Mazovia, the region that includes Warsaw).

How to check it. Entries from the marshals’ registers go to the Central Register of Tour Organisers and Facilitators of Linked Travel Arrangements (Centralna Ewidencja Organizatorów Turystyki i Przedsiębiorców Ułatwiających Nabywanie Powiązanych Usług Turystycznych). The system behind this register is run by the Insurance Guarantee Fund (Ubezpieczeniowy Fundusz Gwarancyjny, UFG), and the data is entered by the marshal of the voivodeship. Open the UFG register search (the search tool is in Polish) and look us up by our tax identification number, NIP 5362006589. According to UFG, the register also lets you check whether a business has valid financial security.
Insurance guarantee
The money you pay for a sailing trip or tour is protected by an insurance guarantee (a form of financial protection for travellers’ payments) in case the organiser becomes insolvent.

What the guarantee covers
According to the guarantee certificate, it covers:
- the costs of continuing the package (impreza turystyczna) or of returning home, including transport and accommodation, where the organiser fails to provide either continuation or return, as it is obliged to;
- refunds of payments for the package where, for reasons concerning the organiser or persons acting on its behalf, the package has not been or will not be carried out;
- refunds of the part of the payments corresponding to the part of the package that has not been or will not be carried out for the same reasons.
Who benefits from it
The beneficiary of the guarantee is the Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship and every traveller who has concluded a contract with Vision Travel sp. z o.o. during the period the guarantee is in force.
Who you pay
You pay the deposit into the bank account of Vision Travel sp. z o.o., unless the offer for a yacht of an independent owner says otherwise. We give you the account number in the offer we send by email. You will never receive it from a third party.
What to do if the organiser becomes insolvent
According to the standard information form that you receive before concluding a contract, payments will be refunded if the organiser becomes insolvent. If the insolvency occurs after the package has begun and the package includes transport, return home is ensured.
If services are refused because of the insolvency, you can contact the guarantor or, where appropriate, the Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship.

In Panama: permits in the waters of Guna Yala
The San Blas archipelago is an autonomous territory of the Guna people. Chartering here requires a permit from the Guna authorities, and the crew must hold their own licences.
